Swimming & Sunbathing

With more than 300 days of sunshine a year, swimmers and sun worshippers will find plenty of locations to swim or just lie by the pool.

Swimming Pools at La Manga Club

Hotel La Manga Club Príncipe Felipe has its own large, heated swimming pool, which is conveniently located just a few steps from your hotel bedroom. Open seasonally, the pool has a separate babies' pool and an ample sun terrace. Alongside the pool, Sol y Sombra offers tasty light meals, thirst-quenching refreshments and frosty ice creams.

At Las Lomas Village, swimmers are spoilt for choice with two outdoor swimming pools (open seasonally) in different parts of the village and the indoor 25-metre pool at Spa La Manga Club. La Pérgola poolside bar is a convenient spot for cool drinks and light meals.

For your convenience, complimentary towels are provided at the indoor and outdoor swimming pools at the hotel and Las Lomas Village. Please note that these outdoor pools are for the exclusive use of their respective guests.

There is another large open-air swimming pool near the Tennis Centre, which is open during the summer months and has three separate depth sections to cater for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Alongside this pool, Splash Bar offers sun-kissed drinks, snacks and ice creams.

Beaches

The resort has its own secluded Mediterranean cove, La Cala, located approximately ten minutes by car or shuttle bus from the hotel. This attractive small beach is set against a stunning backdrop of cliffs and, during the summer months, offers a full range of facilities including beach attendant, shower and La Cala beach restaurant, which specialises in fresh Mediterranean seafood.

There are numerous other beaches in the local area, on both Mediterranean and Mar Menor coasts. The Mar Menor beaches are particularly popular with families with young children, because the warm, shallow water offers bathing fun for all ages.
