La Manga Club Pro Academy is designed for players who have already achieved an advanced standard and want to improve their technical, tactical, physical and mental level through an intense 27- or 17-hour weekly training programme on clay*. In addition, the unique LMC Pro Academy enables players to improve their LTA ratings through organised match play during the week.
The Pro Academy operates weekly during July and August, Easter and half terms, and at other times of year subject to a minimum of 3 participants.
In order to join the Pro Academy, participants must have a high standard of play and be regular tournament players.
PRO ACADEMY PROGRAMME
Sunday 17:00 (18:00 in July & August):
Registration + obligatory singles tournament
Monday to Friday Mornings
All age groups: 11:00-13:00
Monday to Friday Afternoons
10 & Under: 16:00-18:00
12 & Under / 15 & Under / 19 & Under: 16:00-19:00
Players can choose to take part in the full programme (27 hours*) or the afternoon sessions only (17 hours*).
Please remember that the Pro Academy is an intensive training camp for which a minimum playing standard is essential. As such, we reserve the right to switch players into a more suitable coaching programme if this minimum standard is not met. Please be assured that we are committed to providing appropriate tennis coaching for all levels and will never turn a player away without providing an alternative coaching programme.
