Whether you are a total beginner or a tour professional the La Manga Club Academy of Golf will improve your game for sure. By incorporating V1 computerised video analysis, the Explanar swing training system and traditional teaching methods in a fun but professional atmosphere, our professional team of instructors will take you through all the steps you need to achieve a better game of golf.
We offer a selection of different courses for adult golfers of all abilities, ranging from two to four days in duration, as well as private tuition and specialist academies for children, which are available during school holidays.
All the clubs, balls and equipment you need for your Academy course are provided, so you need not worry about bringing your own set with you if you are a seasoned player, or investing in expensive equipment if you are trying golf for the first time. As part of the Academy course, you will be given expert advice on choosing the right equipment for you. All golfing equipment used in the Academy is from Callaway.

Meet Mark Hook, our Head Pro
Whatever the technology, at the end of the day it is the quality and dedication of the coaching staff that will make the difference to your game. At La Manga Club, our PGA-qualified pros will share with you their first-hand knowledge, experience and advice and inspire you with their enthusiasm so that you will not only learn a lot, but also have a great time doing so.
Our Head Pro, Mark Hook, started his professional career in 1994 and is a Qualified Master Coach, proficient in teaching all aspects of the game. One of his particular areas of interest is the mental side of the game, which he has studied in-depth. As such he will also be able to help you with your focusing skills and the psychological approach to golf.
Programme 1: The Total Golf Learning Experience
- Duration: 4 days – 12 hours
- Times: Monday to Thursday, 9 am-12 noon
- Dates: Weekly throughout the year
This academy covers all aspects of the game of golf. During the course you will learn how to build a repeatable golf swing that will serve you well through your golfing life.

Programme 2: Learn and Play
- Duration: 3 days – 9 hours
- Times: Monday to Wednesday, 9am – 12 noon
- Dates: Weekly (Subject to availability; not available mid-June to mid-September)
Looking to improve your game whilst enjoying La Manga Club’s famous courses? This academy incorporates teaching along with two rounds of 9 holes on either of the North and West golf courses. Your game will be analysed and worked upon each morning of the academy, giving you a plan of action for the following round of golf that day.

Programme 3: Quick Fix
- Duration: 2 days – 4 hours
- Times: Friday to Saturday - Saturday to Sunday - Flexible, 9am - 11am
- Dates: Weekly, (subject to availability; not available mid-June to mid-September)
Our two day Quick Fix academy is open to all levels of golfer. If you’re on a weekend break and your golf game needs some attention, this academy provides the perfect opportunity to fine tune every aspect of your game. You will have your long game analysed with the help of our V1 video computer software as well as covering those problem areas of the short game.

Private Tuition
If you are looking for the unique personal attention that one-to-one coaching provides, you can book private lessons with one of our resident professionals. Private tuition can last for 30 minutes or one hour and usually takes place in the afternoon or at weekends.
