| CANTE DE LAS MINAS FLAMENCO FESTIVAL – 51st ANNIVERSARY
La Unión, August 3rd-13th
Every summer, the nearby mining town of La Union – just 10 minutes from La Manga Club – is home to one of the world’s most important and authentic flamenco festivals. Held in the town’s beautiful modernist style former public market building, the festival brings together some of the biggest names in flamenco with up-and-coming flamenco singers, dancers and musicians, competing for the coveted Miners’ Lamp. This year the festival celebrates its 51st anniversary and is sure to be one of the best yet. In June, La Manga Club will be the proud host of one of the heats.
