In La Manga Club and the Region of Murcia there are hundreds of things to do and thousands of years of history to discover.

The little-known cities of Cartagena, Murcia and Lorca are all within easy reach of the resort and offer a treasure trove of local colour, history and culture. Throughout the year and especially during the summer months, the region comes alive with music festivals for all tastes – jazz, flamenco, classical, world music… It is also fast establishing a reputation for itself as one of Spain’s leading contemporary art destinations.

If you are an outdoor enthusiast, one of the most enjoyable ways to make the most of the great Costa Cálida weather is to explore the resort itself and the beautiful local countryside - whether by mountain bike, foot, horseback, boat or car.

Local street markets are great for picking up bargains, as are the shopping malls in Cartagena and Murcia, whilst the region’s craft centres feature work by talented local artisans.

Or, of course, you could simply relax alongside the pool, head down to the beach, or pamper yourself with a treatment at the spa.
